Lovely Lazy Sunday

Lovely Lazy Sunday, originally uploaded by cmason79.

There is something about coming home from church to a quiet house, a comfy couch and a cute hunk of man that really makes me realize how lucky I am.
I have a family that is eternal.
I have a husband who is super sweet and just so happens to be sexy, too.
I have 4 beautiful children who are the angels of my life.
I have everything and all that I could ever need to pull me through the perils of life and the traps of this world.
I. Am. Blessed.

Amen. I feel the same way. Thanks for the uplifting words and the reminder that I truly am blessed too.

We're having a lazy Sunday, too. It's heavenly. I can't think of anyone I'd rather be with than my husband and kids.

Looking forward to looking around your blog!

Hey Carissa - thank you for visiting my blog :) i have now linked the coconut ice recipe in my party post :) it is a sweet you make like fudge or something like that. it is made out of condensed milk and coconut and icing sugar - hence the name coconut ice. They are delicious and are traditionally coloured pink and white and cut in squares.
the blog post/recipe for them can be found here: http://bettybakeblog.blogspot.com/2010/05/coconut-ice-mad-hatters-tea-party-look.html

have a great week

Betty Bake :)

Ah, thank you, Heather! So, ever since I watched your video on the braid in the front of the hair trailing off to the side, I have been doing it in my girls' hair every day! And the funny thing is, I can't french braid! But I can do this braid. I just can't figure out how to do it underneath like you did in the video. You think you could show me or at least explain it in a post? And how do you french braid YOUR OWN hair?? I love your blog and am so happy you were the FB recently!!
