The lazy day is slept away
all curled in a ball of fur.
Lazy cat, sleepy cat.
Purr, purr, purr.

Milk in the dish fulfills her wish
and off to the kitchen she slips.
Hungry cat, thirsty cat.
Sip, sip, sip.

Milk here, milk there
in her fluffy fur so thick.
Yucky cat, mucky cat.
Lick, lick, lick.

Toss and fling that ball of string
around the room all day.
Silly cat, frilly cat.
Play, play, play.

A cold wet nose and soft little toes
wants to be rubbed right now.
Pushy cat, mushy cat.
Meow, meow, meow.

Nowhere has there been a pair
quite like we two.
Kitty cat, pretty cat.
I love you.
